About Us
The purpose of the club is to encourage and support members in the building and operation of their boats in a friendly and sociable atmosphere with like minded people with a common interest.
The membership consists of people from a wide range of backgrounds with varying experience, skills and interests, which means members can usually find someone willing and able to give help and advice with a problem.
Currently there is a wide selection of boats in the club ranging from electric and steam powered to sailing boats of all types including scale and racing.
The club currently has the use of two lakes in Sussex, one at Southwater Country Park and the other at Barns Green.
If you looking to become a model boater then please do ask advice from the members before purchasing a boat.
