HMS Brave Borderer on speed trials at sea 1960c

I have been a model boat enthusiast since the 70s and have built most of my models myself. However, in the recent past a good friend passed away and I was fortunate enough to acquire one of his models. HMS Brave Borderer has been built to 1/32 scale and has many accurate deck features. As originally built it had IC Glow motor power but that is a complete no no nowadays on noise and oil pollution grounds. Keith  a club member kindly built in brushless kit to enable something like scale speed but that has been problematic. Work is in progress and you may see it on the water in its full glory. Built in 1979 as prototype for Kinston Model by Len Bush
